Just when I get my rhythm set for blogging, something happens to disrupt it!! This time it was the big shift!! Since such a long time I had been praying and hoping to shift back to Ahmedabad!! And my prayers were answered!! There was a lot of suspense and tension regarding whether we were shifting and which place we would be shifting to!! But finally and so suddenly, it worked out!!
Zini and I went first to parent’s place to secure admission for her in a good school while hubby stayed back at Noida. It was one thing after another. Once the admission was done, it was clear which area we will be staying in!! So started the house hunt.. And now I know as many houses in this area as any good broker!! Once the house was finalized, it was time for shopping! We had to buy A.C.s, wardrobes and other furniture. Then after a month I went back to Noida to pack up and finally shift!!
Then came the road trip!! We drove down from Delhi to Ahmedabad! And it was fun.. Will try to write about it..
Once we reached, the never ending work started!! Lot of things to be done around the house. But finally we are settled. Settled in Ahmedabad!!
Meanwhile I started cycling!! Currently clocking 12-13 kms.. Trying to increase!! Though not going to push myself too hard there..
I started baking breads and cakes for family!! But haven’t started taking orders yet.. waiting for a granite stone to be delivered to keep my oven on and then it will be all set hopefully!!
Meanwhile I discovered this easy and delicious pumpkin curry!! In the past, pumpkin was something I didn’t care about. But then my local veg supplier started having pumpkins in abundance and I decided to give it a try. I bought it.. But was totally clueless about how to go about cooking it.. So I asked my maid, who apparently has been eating pumpkin since her childhood. This is the recipe she told me about and lo and behold!! I had a winner on my hands!!
Check it out guys!!
